Learn well. — In partnership with Everybody Pilates

Classical Pilates Teacher Training in the Midlands

A complete pathway from student to confident teacher — the Everybody Pilates qualification, held inside the working studio of Coconut in Tamworth, Staffordshire.

There are many places to gain a qualification. We believe there are fewer places to become a thoughtful teacher.

Everybody Pilates provides one of the UK's most respected Classical Pilates teacher training programmes. Coconut is a supportive place to practise, observe and learn between the course weekends. Together they create a complete pathway from student to confident teacher — welcoming trainees from Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire and the wider West Midlands.

Everybody Pilates delivers the training and assesses trainees. Coconut hosts the course and supports trainees through their observation, practice and teaching hours.

Coconut is a House of Practice: a classical studio where trainees on Everybody Pilates programmes can observe teaching, practise on the full apparatus and build their hours, close to home and alongside a working teaching team.

I — Choose your route

Three doors into
the method.

Fundamentals is the doorway. The Full Comprehensive is the complete classical system. The Bridge is the same course, for teachers already comprehensively certified in contemporary Pilates. Whichever you choose, Coconut is where you practise it — alongside your cohort.

Training from across the UK

Coconut is the Midlands home of Everybody Pilates training, and the nearest host studio for trainees across the Midlands and the North. Trainees can stay on site at Constantine House, so intensive weekends mean waking up a few steps from the studio rather than a long drive home.

II

Why teach Pilates?

Teaching Pilates is helping people move with confidence, regain strength after injury, move through pregnancy, build resilience and improve the quality of their days. Every day offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone else's life.

III — Why Coconut

The House of Practice guides everything we do.

It begins with one belief. A meaningful life is not found. It is practised.

We do not simply teach Pilates. We practise teaching. We practise learning. We practise observation. We practise refinement.

Becoming an exceptional teacher happens through thousands of thoughtful repetitions, not a single qualification. That belief shapes our classes, our practical support and the way we welcome trainees.

IX — Learning alongside teachers who continue to learn

A studio where learning never stops.

One of the greatest advantages of training at Coconut is becoming part of a studio where learning never stops. Jade and Jo both completed their teacher training through Everybody Pilates.

Jade and Jo are both currently enrolled on the Everybody Pilates Master Mentor Programme. You are held by teachers who are still actively practising the craft they teach.

X — Frequently asked

Before you
apply.

Tap a question to open it. Anything else, and a conversation is always the best next step.

Do I need teaching experience?

Not at all. Many of our trainees begin with no teaching experience whatsoever.

Do I have to practise at Coconut?

No. It has been designed to provide the supervised practice, feedback and community many trainees find invaluable — but the Everybody Pilates course stands on its own.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes. Everybody Pilates offers a 12-month payment plan for the qualification. Trainee practice at Coconut has no membership and no joining fee — you book only the sessions you need.

What can I book as a trainee?

Trainees can book self-practice blocks, solo practice, observation and private sessions, with trainee discounts on classes and retail. There is no monthly membership or joining fee.

What support will I receive?

Everybody Pilates provides the formal teaching, curriculum and assessment. At Coconut, a teacher is present during trainee practice for safety and support, and to answer questions as your experience develops.

What happens after I qualify?

Our relationship doesn't end at graduation. Graduates are welcome back for workshops, continuing education and self-practice, and we share future teaching opportunities as they arise.

Where is Coconut, and where do trainees travel from?

Coconut is on the Thorpe Estate in Tamworth, Staffordshire — on the border of Derbyshire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire. Trainees join us from across the West Midlands and East Midlands.
