Yoga
Breathe,
lengthen, hold.
We run a weekly yoga class at the studio: breath-led movement, held shapes and unhurried time to lengthen. It is taught by Mirren, who also teaches Pilates here. Yoga sits alongside Pilates rather than replacing it — Pilates builds the centre, yoga gives you the reach and the pause.

The session
What to expect.
The class moves slowly through standing and floor shapes, with the breath setting the pace. Your teacher offers a simpler and a fuller version of each shape and you choose which to take.
Mats and props are provided. Wear something you can stretch in, and arrive a few minutes early if it is your first time.
Alongside Pilates
Two halves of one practice.
Many clients come to yoga on the days they are not on the apparatus. It keeps the hips, hamstrings and shoulders open, and the Pilates feels better the next day for it.
If you are recovering from injury, tell your teacher before the class begins and they will show you what to leave out.
